A thankless task

There was a series of cycle races in Lincoln this weekend and a number of roads were closed. We didn’t see any of the athletes but did see this chap stopping the cars heading down the main road. 

We went over to see S today to deliver some items required for next weekend. It was good to enjoy coffee in the garden watching the gliders soaring in the sunshine.
