Lizard and Goonhilly
We cycled along the coast to Kynance Cove and Lizard Point, which were lovely but not spectacular; we decided we prefer the wide open landscapes to the coves with large car parks and cafes. We did like Cadgwith with its thatched cottages and active fishing activity (see photo) which gave the village vitality and charm (no cafe, one pub, no car park). We enjoyed the very steep cycle down the hill to the village, less so the uphill afterwards. We continued across the Goonhilly Downs and back to the campsite.
