The bracken is back
Every summer is an ongoing battle against the onslaught of invading bracken from the field next door. We had hoped to avoid it this year - leave it to someone else. But we're still here, and now the invasion commences.
After a rather exhausting couple of days, we've had a fairly lazy day; though I have washed, dried and ironed/folded all the washing we brought home. We wandered around the garden, which is looking verdant but with rampant weeds! It's clearly been quite dry - the pond, which we topped up just before leaving, needs more topping up. And even some of the self seeded foxgloves are wilting.
If you are interested, please do look back over the last few days, which I have backblipped.
