INGLEBOROUGH
A good day out today. We went over to Mums as usual, but took her out for lunch. Just a short breenge but it made a nice change for her.
We went to the Country Harvest Farm Shop, Cafe and Gift shop at Ingleton. We drove up the Bay Gateway but rather than join the M6 we stayed on the A683 through Caton, skirting the Crook O'Lune, Claughton, Hornby and Melling then joined the A687 through Burton-in-Lonsdale onto the A65 and immediately into The Country Harvest.
A few cars there but not ltoo bad - it got busier not long afterwards, but but not over-crowded. We had a delicious light lunch, then a lovely browse around the shop. A bit pricey for some things, but all good quality stuff.
It's a rather pretty drive and a pleasant day weather-wise so it was a nice outing for Mum.
The photo is the view from the entrance of the Cafe and is of Ingleborough, Yorkshire's 2nd largest mountain. I have blipped it before from various places as it is so easy to spot.
That's all for today, do take care and stay safe and I will see you all tomorrow.
