Flower Friday (Friday 6th May 2022)
Although Blip had advised me of a special day coming up I was caught slightly off guard not realising that 3,650 equalled ten years worth of Blips, or exactly when that date would be backblipped. Thank you to all you blippers who visited Thursday's page to add comments and bestow stars and hearts; very much appreciated.
The Woodland Garden tulips are all but over now, not only in pots but those that were planted later in the ground, of which this is one, still looking spectacular as it goes over. More in the May album.
Thanks to BikerBear for Flower Friday.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Bob Dylan - Subterranean Homesick Blues (recorded 14 January 1965, New York NY)
Bob Dylan (vcl, har, ac gtr) with Bruce Langhorne (gtr), John Hammond Jr (gtr), Frank Owens (el pno), John Sebastian [ as Joe Mack] or John Boone (bass), Bobby Gregg (dr, perc)
This new video to the original track was posted on this day to mark its 50th anniversary. The song is a kind of homage to the beat poetry of eople such as Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg. Kerouac has a novel called The Subterraneans and Ginsberg actually appears in the original 'video' having written some of the cue cards featured in the clip. The song paraphrases a line from Woody Guthrie's Taking It Easy (""Mom was in the kitchen preparing to eat/Sis was in the pantry looking for some yeast") and its meter derives from Chuck Berry's Too Much Monkey Business, neither of whom are particularly associated with the Beats.
