A Glasgow Urban Myth
Took myself out for a run at lunch time today. This is unusual on two fronts; I rarely get a lunch time these days; it's even rarer that I would use it to go running! It wasn't always so, we used to get a lunch break and we used to go running two or three times a week. I know that it would be so much better for the mind and body if I could get back into running at least a couple times a week.
One of my favourite (and shortest!) routes takes me past Kelvingrove Art Galleries. I was once told that the building was built back to front by mistake and that this view from the main road (the front entrance) should actually be the back of the building. When the architect who designed the building saw the mistake he was so distraught he killed himself. This story could be completely made up, I've never researched it. But I always think of it when ever I pass by.
I think I might research this urban myth now...
