The name means Sweet Meadows, and this is part of the view that our daughter Cecile, and hubby, Heinrich, will have once their house is completed.

Preparation work has just started, and many months of building work lies ahead.

This week the workers have started to excavate and also to level the building site in preparation for the builders to move in and to start with their handiwork.

This erf/property is situated on the western side of a security complex that overlooks part of the farming community towards Mosselbay.

All in all this complex will house about 20 houses (properties) of which about nine have been completed or are in the process of completion.

The scenery is magnificent, with the Outeniqua Mountain range to one side and the coastal flatness to the other side. As the weather changes, so does the scenery, and no two days look alike.

Indeed a wonderful place to call home.
