Dîner...

Serving dinner tonight and 4 guests have just called to say they are still in Chartres. Well that's about 3 hours away at least but other guests are going to want their supper right now so I guess it's two shifts for us tonight. :(

This oil on board painting is one of my favourite by C. Cerisola is shows two people, a man and woman seated at a table and looks as if it has been painted from above looking down on the scene. It will calm me to look at it while I wait for the late arrivals. Grrr.
