They are Back

The Goldfinches and Pine Siskin are back in full force; they were crowded around the sunflower seed feeders after I filled them this morning. They were lined up, waiting for a space to eat.

It was a decent day today, and I pulled weeds in the garden; the ground was saturated with water, so Portland must have had a lot of rain while we were gone, or maybe it was the downpours from yesterday.
