An overnight at Johns brother in Bothel, a visit to say hello to his elderly cousin in Culgaith the next morning, his face was a picture when opening the door to John, and onto Tebay south to pick up something for lunch, it’s very good in there. A rare comment to make about any service station. Apparently they have opened one on the M5 near Gloucester. Can highly recommend calling into Tebay North as well.

And onto Cheltenham to stay with my sister for two nights, the M6 was as usual too busy, the best area is from Preston up to Carlise.
