Starter!
My brother took us out for lunch on the way to the airport today. We had the fixed priced menu in a restaurant at St Martin on the Île de Ré.
The starter was 3 prawns, 3 oysters and 3 bulots (whelks - but I gave those to MrF). Then I had moules which were cooked with fennel instead of onion or celery which is more usual, and chips, and panne cotta to finish.
We drove around the island for a bit and went to see the lighthouse, then I dropped them off at the airport, dropped Mr F at the rugby (Stade Rochelais are through to the semi finals of the Champions Cup) and went home to feed Elvis.
