Happy Families

I am pleased to record that the goose which had been sitting patiently on her nest on the grassy island (seen here in extras) has finally hatched her family of four.

I don't think the parents were too pleased with my presence as they soon took to the water and crossed to the other bank. I carried on shooting, but my view was obstructed and the shots less than satisfactory.

I know before long I will be cursing them, but for now they are cute.
