Getting ready …

Hubby feeling better so he had a 15 mile cycle this morning.

Dogs walked, back for breakfast then plan of attack to tidy up the tidying (clearing) we have been doing all week. Managed to get 5 bags of clothes and 6 bags of books together - booked a slot at the recycle centre tomorrow to pass these items on to others.

Took a brief trip into the town centre, to return an item. Bumped into a long lost friend, quick catch up, purchased some more clothes then back to the car via the coffee shop for a drink and cake. They are getting ready for the Jubilee celebrations, effective flag affect of strips of red, white and blue hung from the “ceiling” of the walkway.

Film tonight - Death on the Nile (2022 version), with Kenneth Branagh, Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders and many others. Good film (produced, directed and starring Branagh).
