Welcome to the world little one...

I have been watching the backyard off and on all day long hoping to catch a moment when I saw this parent Junco feeding a little one. This is the first little one I have seen this year. The top two photos I got when I spotted them. The parent then moved the little one into the ferns. That's the other two photos. It was so cute as it chased the parent around begging for food. Every now and then the wind would pick up and it was tapped by a few fern branches, it would jump back trying to figured out what happened.. A grand thing to see on a blustery day...

Tomorrow is Mother's Day in America. Going to get my mom breakfast and we will probably take a walk - depending on how she is feeling..
