Plants

So despite moving into a new flat in September, my batch of grass hasn't been cut once since I moved in, mainly because I never got around to buying a lawnmower. I have bought one now, plus a hedge trimmer, because there is A LOT of plants, mainly like the type in the shown photo.

Today was spent just trimming the plants, which ended up filling in 6 bin liner bags. And that's not including the grass itself. What happens when grass isn't cut for 8+ months. At least the plants won't get in the way when taking the wheelie bins out.

Beyond that, had a bike ride on Bankend Road into Georgetown. Not a bad ride though it really showed I hadn't cycled a ton the last couple months, despite cycling 2000+ miles in 2021. Skipped the Calside uphills I would do before because I can barely do them right now.

Now to see how mowing goes tomorrow...
