Down A Country Road

The road in question being between Lamancha and Eddleston, after visiting the market in West Linton, meeting nadinepierce on her popular Pentland Aromatics stall. We also indulged from the fish van but not the bakery.

In search of coffee found the Lamancha Hub opens only on a Wednesday, knew the Whitmuir cafe had closed some time ago, so took this road from Whim and patronised the Scots Pine at Eddleston. We pass this quite often but had not seen it open until recently; the only customers as we entered it became busier before we left.

Mr Flum obligingly stopped and re-wiped the windscreen for my snap of the 'tree tunnel' (the Flum family always notes these), though you can see raindrops against the trees. At home the roads were dry and the afternoon sunny.
