Maiglöckchen
Last year, I dug out a few Lily of the valley shoots in my mother’s garden, and planted them in a shaded spot of our own. This is the very first spray of its flowers, and it makes me feel happy to see the plant thrive.
The title of this blip is its German name, meaning “little May bells”.
Otherwise a domestic, but productive Saturday, with several hours of gardening, grocery shopping and chores, but also a very pleasant coffee break on the sunny patio.
