Transient Beings

Each time I look at a calendar I feel as though an electric shock just ran through my body. The same question get repeated over and over again in my mind- why does it feel like someone has pressed a fast forward button on my life?

Years have passed in a matter of seconds and I'm already 20 years old, soon to become 21 in a month and a half's time. I want to prolong this journey as much as I can, yet tomorrow always comes sooner than expected. Its 11:33 pm right now. In half an hr with a blink of an eye it will be daylight again.
