Italian for supper

We went to the Parnell Farmer’s Market this morning, as usual, then hubby went off to the Maritime Museum for his Saturday volunteering shift.  There were three sailings today, one of which didn’t start until 4:30/5pm and was longer than usual, so we agreed to meet in St Heliers and have supper at the fun Italian restaurant.

I had a relaxing day not doing much of anything, which is most unusual for me. I went over and had a G&T with Mum before walking down to St Heliers to meet hubby for supper.

We are hoping to get up around 5am tomorrow morning to watch the Eta Aquariids meteor shower, as the earth passes through the trail of dust and ice left by Haley's Comet.  At the same time, planets Saturn, Mars, Venus and Jupiter will be aligned and visible in the same area of the sky - a rare occurrence itself. Might have to set an alarm!

The blip shows a wonderful spider’s web just catching the morning light - taken by hubby this morning and appropriated by me, autumn colours in Parnell behind the Farmer’s Market, and tonight’s sunset.

Another 12 deaths have been reported, bringing the total number of deaths to 857 and the seven-day rolling average to 16.
