Late...

…………………………Arrival


I was delighted to see this monarch butterfly basking in the morning sun - surprised the caterpillar and chrysalis had survived so late in the season and now hopefully this beautiful butterfly will make it through the cold winter months for the cycle to start again next summer.

There was only a brief moment to get this photo before it fluttered off into the wide world!




Many thanks for the comments, stars and hearts for the wee ‘fella’ featured in yesterday’s blip. I looked for hime this morning, but he had disappeared overnight.
