Chive blossom

I've never tried it but you can, apparently, eat these flowers as well as the more usual chive leaves (which I do). Nothing beats an edible plant which is attractive, too. I might give the flower a go next time I make a cheese sandwich.

Otherwise the day has been a rather tedious succession of household chores but hopefully that frees up the coming days, which are forecast to be warm and sunny, for more interesting things.
