Day with mum

This morning S, mum and I went for a walk around the woods. We took ‘big grandad’ with us in binocular form to have a chat to him about what we could see and hear. We decided to go for lunch at the restaurant up the road, something I’d not done since it reopened for the season. We had a delicious meal, far too much food for lunch time but we enjoyed it and S liked doing something a bit different. We spent the rest of the afternoon at mums, I’m so lucky that she lives close by and we can do this. This evening Cannon has been mowing our huge lawn with the ride on mower which has been out of commission for a few weeks, the grass was so long. Blip is of S having a cuddle with her dad on the mower and telling him about her day. Extra is of progress on the green bean house.
