Never mind Covid we now have a Corvid situation at our house. Black bundle lying on the back grass this morning and before letting Cali out I went to look and it appeared to be a young crow. Soaking wet. I left it and kept Cali in hoping parents would turn up.
It then hopped onto the patio and I gave it some mealworms which it gobbled. Still no sign of parents and it huddled in a corner with the rain pouring down. I put it in a box and covered it, initially allowing room for it to leave and called the SSPCA after it was obvious it couldn't.
When SSPCA came out they thought it was older and emaciated. Oh well at least it was saved from predators and had some mealworms as a last treat
