Muncaster Castle

We have come west for the night. We visited Muncaster Castle this afternoon - fascinating. Unfortunately the weather didn’t play ball and it wasn’t too pleasant walking around the extensive grounds. Pity, as they are quite stunning with a magnificent and extensive display of rhododendrons and azaleas.

The Great Hall (extra) was magnificent too.
