Misplaced

When I am an old woman I may, as Jenny Joseph decided, wear purple but I am not looking forward to losing things by putting them away in all the wrong places.

Though the crisps did stay crisp, so....

BTW - why was wearing purple such an outrageous idea? Not black or brown? Associations with 'bad' women? Or the preserve of royalty and bishops?
