Cousins

We're actually second cousins I think, as our parents were cousins. There's only a week between us in age, and we've been lifelong friends even though we live 250 miles apart. It was good to catch up today, I'm staying overnight with Sue and Steve in Sheffield, on route to my conference tomorrow.
The road south was good, the only delay being leaving Manchester when the motorway ground to a complete standstill. In my usual way I decided I was not up for a long queue, so drove on and found myself an alternative route.
