Finally Seeing Red

When we moved here we were told that the little wood on the land opposite ours, just across the burn from our field, had Red Squirrels. A couple of weeks ago we finally saw one fleetingly, then this morning, trying to cheer myself up from feeling under the weather, and giving my new one-man pop-up hide a try for the first time (in the extras), headed down before breakfast. This wee one was distant, but I've now got something to work with (as well as keeping an eye out for the Jays that are down in this spot as well).
