OUCH!

The eldest has had a splinter in his heel - we couldn't get it out on Sunday and hoped that it would work its way out.  Sadly not, so I had another try this evening, thinking it was just a small splinter.  Then this came out - huge! No wonder he has been saying that it hurts.  Poor love. 

Youngest seems to be over (for the time being) his trouble going into school. 

Beautiful day today - hopefully it's here to stay! 

Today I'm grateful for: 
The eldest asking to practise his spellings at 6.30 this morning (tv is now banned before 7am, it's paying dividends!). And we did do the spellings! 
The youngest going into to school so well this morning 
A run in the sunshine (dog wasn't so grateful as I think he got a bit hot by the end).
