It was lovely to see the Large Red Damselfly (I stand to be corrected of course), resting on a clump of nettles down by the river bank, as we took time out from gardening.  Me gardening, Luna supervising.   She's started taking one of her better balls with her when she sits by the river and then dropping it and watching as it rolls into the river.   I'm keeping an old lawn rake down there as a quick retrieval aid!!
