New greenhouse layout

Gardeners talk about putting plants "in their final location" and my greenhouse now has a "final layout", with the folding bamboo shelves at the back to clear space for vertical growing of tomatoes and cucumbers.

Well this is semi-final given that all the plants are still in containers (albeit bigger ones as they've just been potted on and watered with a seaweed liquid feed). And the metal shelves will eventually be removed from the greenhouse but they're still needed for a bit longer for flower seedlings.

There's always an element of risk when you sow tomato seeds indoors in the winter as they grow so fast and, in a bad year, they can't be moved to the greenhouse in the early spring if too cold.

This gamble has paid off (I may not be so lucky another year!) and it's wonderful to see huge plants filling their container and flowering!
