All hail to the chief..

Well this evening at our rural women’s institute Mrs FP pulled off a long planned coup d'état. A mere five years ago she joined the organisation. Rising swiftly through the lower ranks she soon established herself as a major force on the ‘committee’. Political power plays, blackmail, the mysterious disappearance of two previous presidents all resulted in a head to head for the position of ultimate supremo (a superlative? probably).

Unfortunately her opponent’s grandchildren were briefly kidnapped and felt they had to withdraw. (The little buggers drew on the carpet with crayons!)

Ignore that last bit.

Long story short, an iron fist in a velvet glove.
