Mail order gardening

Our blank horticultural landscape is filling up fast! So fast that we are now planning some new beds and planting areas, although these will not begin until the autumn. Gardening is a long game!

These lobelia Queen Victoria should be a blaze of crimson glory in September! Today, these young plants slithered through our letterbox courtesy of a very efficient mail order service.

A haircut, long overdue, took some of my time this morning. I also booked a train ticket for a three day work excursion beginning on Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised by the relatively cheap price too. I hope I don’t spend half the journey on a bus pretending it’s a train!
