One shrub, three directions

This shrub proved to be too big to grow in a local friend's garden. So about 3 years ago we planted it at the end of our garden. It hasnt done much growing until this spring. But then it started growing and flowering. So here it is photographed with three backgrounds. It will certainly make a good bit of growing height from our house. I dont know what it is called. Any ideas?

We were expecting rain this afternoon, it came 2 hours later than expected. Clare and I had another afternoon of catchcup, tea and biscuits. Will we ever get walking weather...but we were glad of the rain for our farms and gardens!
