Nice surprise.

Took the girls out for slightly earlier walk. Then walked into town for brunch with some friends. Hubby went to get some veg on the way home and turned up with a bunch of flowers, can’t remember the last time he did that.
Needed to drop something off at daughters so Hetty and I walked over via the park.
What made today brilliant was new photos of grandson sent this morning with no tubes, he is off oxygen, feeding tube removed as he is coping himself, and cannula out as finished treatment. Will remain on unit for at least another 24 hours monitoring. I keep looking at the photos and can’t wait to meet him.
