Mini Farmer 2

Another mini farmer moment!
We prepared the pumpkin patch , the seedlings are ready and will go in shortly , and then planted the potatoes in a new bed over what was formerly the compost heap. As rain had fallen this morning there was quite a lot of mud to contend with. If we were to ask Arthur he would probably say that poking a pile of sticks into the soil , one by one , was the best bit of the afternoon.
I drove back from Chesterfield this morning after an early breakfast with our granddaughter, the journey went smoothly and I have to admit I enjoyed both the scenery and playing sixties music at high volume .
