Allan Bank house, Grasmere

Our last full day down in 'The Lakes' and we spent the morning visiting Allan Bank house, on the edge of Grasmere ...

... I've never been to this property before, and it's quite unlike any other National Trust House I've previously visited! If you're ever down near Grasmere, I would highly recommend going to check it out : the House itself, general Grounds, and the Kitchen Garden are all really fascinating.

Back up to Edinburgh later this evening ... most important democratic-duties to be undertaken tomorrow ;-)
