Bluebells and barrows

We took the day off today and headed off with Hector for a walk on the South Downs Way, starting and ending at the Royal Oak at Hooksway, where we had lunch afterwards. We only saw two other walkers and it felt like we had the Downs to ourselves. Bliss.
