Perfect Tree

A tree blipped in the afternoon on the way to the Rail Trail at Station Road (see yesterday's blip). Trees are marvelous, especially in perfect outline like this.

For once the sun shone all day. The piliated woodpecker did not appear, and other possible birds were too distant (including three glossy ibises and at least two pairs of green-winged teals.

I hope to find better tomorrow morning.
