Coot and Cootie

Another duck today, well two to be precise. I’ve been watching the coots with the nest they patch up each year, sharing the egg warming duties and co-parenting. Finally spotted a duckling today, only seen the one so far. It had just been spruced up by mum (or dad) for photos!
