Here’s Holly enjoying some horse pellets. I bought her great grandmother at the 1984 Dubbo thoroughbred sale and have bred and raced the female line ever since. She’s having a couple of years off breeding, her firstborn (a filly) is having her first start next week. If her form measures up to all those in her maternal line, Holly will be going back to a stallion I can afford in September/October. This will likely trigger a domestic lecture on the cost of horses (and motorcycles).
