As I am came up the steps from Bank underground station something felt different

This is the junction of five very busy roads by the Bank of England. The roads had been closed and only the bikes were being allowed through. This lady stopped in the middle of the junction to adjust something on her bike.

I was moved by the silence.

The rest of the day wasn't great and my train was delayed due to a fire on the track
