Looking Green

After the recent rain the village is starting to turn green as the leaves on the trees open. Looking pretty today I thought.

This evening spent at KK's football where their under 17 team were playing a not so friendly against Tarbert adults,  our neighbouring village. The Tarbert team started well but soon ran out of energy compared to the fitter younger side and lost 4-1 by the games end. Another win for KK and his team, the only issue being that one of his team mates was taken down early in the game and looked like he had a broken leg. I was disturbed to see no medical attention at all as he had to wait to the end of the game be taken home and hopefully then to A&E by his unsuspecting mother.
