Unfurling

Although not a fan of Bracken this caught my eye on the castle bank. 

Jet at 14 is causing us concern as a growth on his tongue is looking nasty. Antibiotics has not worked so surgery is the only option. Obviously that carries a risk but if it makes him more comfortable then that will be a result. So he is booked in on the 18th May. An anxious wait.

Whilst in the Library I encountered an elderly couple who were having problems getting home. Roadworks had rerouted their bus. So they were waiting on the wrong side of the road. They couldn’t get hold of a taxis either. With the Library due to close I offered to get the car and give them a lift. To say they were grateful was an understatement. A short drive and they were safely delivered home.
