The Lane

Yesterday a small band of hardy Hobblers set off on a familiar run with an unfamiliar path in the mix, suggested by Hobbler WilsdenWalker.  Having spent the morning on the Club Newsletter I took myself off to the Moor this afternoon, in search of new unfamiliar paths, tricky when we have lived here 40+ years.  I did manage to find two which added a hint of adventure to an otherwise straightforward circuit.  

My blip is of the lane that takes off at the end of our terrace and its hedgerow is beginning to bloom with all kinds of wildflowers.  The purple honesty caught my eye as I set off on my walk.

Can you spot the black cat about to cross my path?  I never know whether that is lucky or not??
