Friday Night Delight

This was just a completely random click that I actually like for some reason. Not sure at all why I took it, but there you go.

Holly's best friend had a sleep over with us. Her parents came by to drop off some things, like soccer gear for tomorrows game (the last of the spring season). Their other child, a boy of nine, was out with Grandpa for a meal and then to go watch a game, so our friends were going to go out on the town and have a meal themselves.

So while we were all sitting down chatting about various things, one of them being where they should go and eat, there was a call from Grandpa. This you are not going to believe: It turns out that their son ordered a drink with his meal but somehow he ended up getting some kind of alcoholic drink instead...which he drank. Only at the end of the meal did they figure out what had happened.

Not sure what the drink was, and it can't have been too strong as he survived the ordeal relatively well. He complained of an upset stomach and dizziness. Of course this put an end to our friends' plans for a night out. Off they rushed to see to their son.

How strange is that story?
