Cherished Teddies And Friends

How many men does it take to refit a ceiling light in a utility room? Well, only one, but it takes all day with a lot of expletives! The plasterer hadn't left a large enough hole for the recessed fitting, and it was a real pain to open it up and then get the fitting in the correct position for the screws to hold it in place. I also had to modify some wiring as it had come loose and wouldn't connect properly. And then the bulb blew but luckily I had a spare.

Anyway, back to blip. It's easy to find things with a literary connection for Mono Monday in our house. Mrsfb collects ornaments which feature books. We've got loads of them. This is the latest acquisition, picked up in a charity shop last week. I like the teddy with glasses. Underneath it says 'when one lacks vision, another must provide supervision'.
