Garganey

I went on a duck safari, to the Rising Sun country park, today.
I was happy to be rewarded with sightings of mallard, tufted duck, pochard, shoveler, gadwall and this handsome garganey, among other non-duck species too. Conditions weren't great, grey and a little drizzly, but I had to go with this shot, as it was a new species for me.
