Sissinghurst: Dianthus Dance

Im and I met up with a friend and went to Sissinghurst Castle and Garden. The gardens were looking very fine (although they'll probably be rather more splendid in a few weeks as a lot of blooms were almost out) and we had a jolly time. Spotted a hornet and an unfamiliar hoverfly in the new Mediterranean garden, and it was also a treat to see newts in one of the ornamental ponds.
Came home via Im's parents, so it was a rather sociable day all round.
