A Day At A Time.

The Furniture Reallocation

We spent a busy afternoon organising all my bedding and sorting what to keep and what not to.

Then we went to the terrace and suddenly had an idea. Jacqui had bought a new kitchen table for her house and had a small, square, glass-topped table she was trying to sell.

My wooden patio table was just a bit too big and made my narrow terrace hard to navigate. Jacqui's wooden table and chairs on the poop deck at her house were very much past their best, having been gnawed and chewed by her son's dog in a previous life.

Solution: swap! And so it was. After a couple of trips with tables and chairs sticking out of the convertible, we had reorganised both terraces and solved all the problems in one go.

With great satisfaction, we enjoyed a drink outside in the glow of the setting sun to celebrate before supper!
