Mono Monday . . . Literary

My approach to the challenge was to take a few photos that appealed to me and then go along my book shelves to find a book that matched.  The photo I chose is of a neighbours fantail sculpture that is attached to her front fence.  It is made of spoons.  Her husband is a clever welder  and she requested he make some after seeing similar in a gallery.  The book to go with it is A Guide To The Birds Of East Africa by Nicolas Drayson.
"For the past three years, Mr. Malik, an avid birdwatcher, has been passionately and secretly in love with Rose Mbikwa, the lovely woman who leads the Tuesday morning bird walk sponsored by the East Africa Ornithological Society."

Can't Judge A Book By It's Cover      Willie Dixon

You can't judge an apple by looking at a tree
You can't judge honey by looking at the bee
You can't judge a daughter by looking at the mother
You can't judge a book by looking at the cover

Oh can't you see
Oh you misjudge me
I look like a farmer, but
I'm a lover
Can't judge a book by looking at the cover
